The stories poured in, and you can now read about all the amazing things that fellow TidBITS readers have accomplished with AppleScript, Automator, and the many other automation technologies available to Mac users.
Dismissing some of the world's most popular personal computers - whose popularity has grown in leaps and bounds in recent years - as "not gaming machines" misses the whole advantage of PC gaming, to my mind. Build games for the systems that people actually have, not the systems you'd like them to have. Leave your biases at the door. Stop seeing those glowing Apple logos as a "no entry" sign, the people behind them as outside your audience. There are tens of millions of them, with well-established distribution networks set up to reach them, and they're proven to have money in their pockets and a willingness to spend. If that's not an audience worth reaching out to, what is?

Error in the creation of a digital feature. Since a point is merely a dot, I don't see how you can make topology error but as the digital error becomes more complex the degree of error increases i.e. all things being equal, a line feature like a railway line comprising of many segments of line can have less segments than a many sided polygon which is the most complex of the three to create. When drawing line features like a railway line, a crossing of lines with with without node means something different so get that wrong and our analysis that depended on that line will be flawed. Line in terms of road can be made one way or two way direction and if this was not corrected input, walla! you get another mistake. The meeting of polygons and lines are common areas of human error. Anyway I guess it refers to errors resulting from inaccurate geometry due to someone not paying close attention, plain lazy or in need of better spectacles. | It can automatically recognize eight different family members to make sure the right data is pushed to the right mobile app. But most of all, we dig how the WS-30 syncs with partner apps. For example, you can see your weight and body mass numbers directly in Jawbone's UP wristband app.

| In fact, I believe that quite a few Donators engage in CSR to create goodwill and keep off the activists' radar. Let me explain. The world around us is changing. The general public has taken a new position – sustainability has become the new norm, at least from a lip service perspective. Saying you are against sustainability is simply not done in today's world. In Europe you'd be signing your death warrant. In this new world, activists are also more aggressive and look for 'bad' examples that they can use and abuse in their campaigns. So what do Donators do?

Thanks for the review Terry. Like you said, you, yourself, need to determine if the upgrade is worth it. For me., DE will be missed, but I need to share photos of my kids, be able to remote into my home boxes, and I LOVE the fact you can change the server web page around! Streaming is a nice addition, but when I tested the beta, the move streaming didn't work all that well iirc. All in all, I am impressed. Yes, I will miss DE, the the positives outweigh tthe few negatives.

Don't ever count Microsoft out. Its great corporate skill has always been to take the sheer weirdness of computer ideas and translate them for corporations, in the language of Global Business Leadership. Whatever is discussed in this issue, Microsoft offers at least one of it. Statically typed, scripting, data-driven, functional—name your ambiguous adjective, and Microsoft will sell something that delivers that to you, and you can write Windows code in it and live a Windows life.
