In the specific case of Oracle v. Google, it's not breadth that gives Oracle leverage (and the case has nothing to do with breadth of copyright, contrary to what some suggest). It's simply that Google has built Android in a way that the asserted Java API declaring code is a key building block. New and amateur video editors will absolutely love the Magnetic Timeline, but it is going to take some time and practice before you see many professional editors embracing it. Most professional editors won't admit it, but we do spend too much time making room for clips we want to insert, closing up gaps and keeping everything in sync. Admittedly, we find ourselves itching to press the T key for the Track tool to make some space in the timeline. I have worked with several commercial offerings including Final Cut Pro, Premiere and Video Wave. I recently used Cinelera (on Ubuntu Hardy) on several projects and I like it very much. Cinelera is much more powerful than Video Wave and is more near the class of Final Cut Pro and Premiere. Sure, Cinelera has some stability issues from time to time but they are not major and it also recovers nicely since it saves your most recent changes anyway. To be fair, I have seen similar stability issues with the commercial products as well so I do not find this aspect of Cinelera any different.

| I first used the Steelseries Sensei in 2013 and criticized several things about it. Its ambidextrous body design means it's never going to contour to a right-handed grip as well as the Deathadder. The metallic surface of the regular model Sensei is slick to the touch and offers a poor grip, and it can quickly grow slippery with palm sweat. Another problem is from plan view the GIS shows a underground utility pipe to be 1km long but in actual fact that pipe in side elevation could be sloping and be 1.3km long. So if that 0.3km difference was not taken into account who is going to pay for the additional cost of implementing that 0.3km or was it ever taken into account in the first place? The same can also be exemplified when a road down a hill slope from plan view is 10km long but from side elevation is actually 9.5km. The GIS software will die stating that the actual distance of the road is 10km but who is going to tell the GIS software it made a serious mistake especially when it concerns the annual maintenance cost of that road.
